Study Buddy January 2022

Study Buddy is a web application designed to help students meet people in their courses virtually by connecting them with people taking similar courses as them and allowing them to chat online icon

Students who sign up have their basic info saved into the backend database and they are able to view other people who share a similar school or similar courses icon

Students are able to reach out to other users and they are given the option to video chat to study, or use the text chat on the right icon

Created for the 2022 nwHacks hackathon
Won prize for best use of Microsoft Azure Communications API for our use of video communication
Uses the MERN stack which is MongoDB, Express, React, and Node
